Zoom & Learn Legislative Update

This year we had a 60 day legislative session will all of the usual challenges of getting good bills passed and trying to kill bills that are not good for builders and remodelers. In addition, we had to get all of this done during a pandemic making it that much more difficult. Some of the bills we are working on relate to:
- Sustainable Building Tax Credits
- Building Code changes
- Attracting Retirees to New Mexico
- Taxes and Environmental Policies
Again, all of the usual and unusual things come up like budgets, education reform and Cannabis…never a dull moment in Santa Fe
