The Home Builders Association is looking for a savvy, hard-working, dedicated communications professional to join their team! In this position, you will interact with the over 650 members of the Home Builders Association, a small staff, and a board of directors. We are looking for a candidate that is ready and willing to learn about the home building industry.

Essential job functions:

• Internal and external communications from the Home Builders Association
• Prepare weekly newsletter
• Website maintenance
• Daily social media upkeep between Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
• Daily communication with members of the association
• Daily phone conversations with members and non-members
• Assistance on all association events
• Staff liaison with internal councils and committees
• Staff liaison with UNM Student Chapter

Required skills:

• Experience in Microsoft 365
• Including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience with social media
• Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

Preferred skills:

• 1-2 years of professional experience in any industry
• Adobe InDesign
• Layout design experience is a plus
• Microsoft Publisher
• Mailchimp Software
• WordPress experience
• Zoom
