Albuquerque Metropolitan Housing Digest is produced by the Home Builders Association
of Central New Mexico in collaboration with Jan DeMaggio of DataTraq.
Data sources for this report include the City of Albuquerque Building Permits Office, the City
of Rio Rancho City Development Office, the Bernalillo County Zoning & Planning Department, the
Village of Los Lunas Planning Office, and the Sandoval County Planning Department.
Geographical quadrants (NE, NW, SE, SW) are within the Albuquerque City limits only and are the
same as those used for delivery of U.S. mail. The AT&SF railroad tracks divide east and west;
Central Avenue divides north and south. The East Mountain area is defined as that area that is
east of the Albuquerque City limits. Unincorporated Valencia County information does not include
the Village of Los Lunas or the town of Belen, but does include Peralta and Bosque Farms.
